Our Chinese name, 星空度假屋, means a holiday house under the starry sky. It is the simplest way to describe what we set out to build in Mesilau: homes big enough for the whole family, in a place where the air is cool, the mountain is close and the night sky is full of stars.
Every house is a private home rather than a hotel room. You get the whole place: the kitchen, the BBQ, the living room for karaoke, and the bedroom window that frames Kinabalu at sunrise. We fill in the little things, from the embroidered towels to the umbrellas by the door.
Starlight is managed by 26 Group Sdn Bhd, a property management team based in Kota Kinabalu, with self check-in and an on-site property manager for every stay.

Starlight sits in Mesilau, on the green slopes of Kundasang in Sabah's cool highlands, around 100 km by road from Kota Kinabalu.
