Terms & conditions

Rates, deposit & payments

• All rates are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include 8% government tax.
• Rates are based on your period of stay and may change if your arrival or departure dates change.
• Each additional adult is charged RM 120.
• Children aged 12 and under stay free in existing bedding when sharing with a paying adult. Fees apply if a roll-away bed is required; please contact us.
• All room requests are subject to availability on arrival.
• If a booking is made at an incorrectly posted rate, the villa may correct the rate or cancel the reservation, and will contact you directly.

Early arrival & late departure

• Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM.
• Arriving before check-in time? The front desk can store your luggage until your house is ready. You may also consider booking the night before.
• Late check-out is available on request, subject to availability. Please ask at least 24 hours before departure.
• A half-day charge may apply for late check-out between 12 PM and 5 PM, and a full-day charge after 5 PM.
• A valid government-issued ID or passport is required at check-in.

Credit card confirmation

• A valid credit card is required to secure every reservation.
• On booking, your card is charged the amount shown on the booking confirmation page and email.
• Debit and credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation policy

• Cancellations received within 3 days of the arrival date are charged the first night.
• Failure to arrive is treated as a no-show and is charged the first night.

House rules

Please don't bring the following onto the premises:

• Pets.
• Foods that may cause discomfort to other guests, such as durian, jackfruit, salted fish and shrimp paste.
• Electrical appliances or equipment for heating or cooking.

The villa may remove any of these items without notice and charge for any resulting cost, loss or damage. Guests who use the premises irresponsibly, or in a way that compromises the safety of others, the property or its reputation, may be asked to leave without compensation.

Starlight is a smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including inside the houses, except in any designated smoking area.

General provisions

• Once accepted, your stay is subject to the villa's standard terms and conditions of stay.
• The villa may cancel a reservation if the information provided appears falsified or incomplete.
• The villa may vary or amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
• You agree to indemnify the villa against any liability, loss, damage, cost or expense arising from the acceptance of your reservation.
• The villa is not liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses you incur as a result of a cancellation by the villa.
